Four time more Powerful battery Mobile Phone in just ₹ 1,932: Maxx MX100

Union Communication and IT Minister, Kapil Sibal along with State Communication and IT Ministers, Milind Deora and Kruparani Killi  launched the MX100 Leader mobile phone  at Telecom Exhibition '13 held at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi .The cost of this phone is  ₹ 1,932. Maxx Mobile says that the handset is particularly designed to cater to the rural Indian market Maxx Mobile has launched a new feature phone called the MX100 Leader , the new Maxx phone is powered by a 4400mAh battery.Normally a mobile phone battery is powered from 950mAh to 1200mAh but this has near about four time powered which will sure make difference.The battery can also be used as a power bank to charge other phones.

The MX100 Leader features dual-SIM support, GPRS connectivity, Bluetooth and in-built LED torch, MP3/MP4 player and FM Radio. The phone supports expandable storage up to 16GB. According to Maxx, the MX100 Leader is water and dust resistant.
This phone is basically focus to tap the rural, semi-urban and interior parts of India where there is scarcity of electricity

Even as Maxx has launched a new feature phone, the company earlier this year launched two dual-SIM smartphones – AX8 Race and AX9Z Race – priced at ₹ 8,875 and ₹ 12,375 respectively.

With growing popularity of smartphones, especially the budget ones, sales of feature phones has seen a drastic slide. According to the latest IDC report, share of feature phones has slide to 81% of the total market in third quarter of 2013.
